Living Home Instructional Kit, 2017
Combining the idea of domestic home advertising in the 1950s and the idea of anthropomorphizing one's own home. In the package of a failed 1950s advertisement, the work comments on the absurdity of the advertising during that time as well as the products being released.
Lost (The Funeral), 2015
The story: lost in a large, endless cemetery.
Open Plane, 2015
Made entirely out of dots from a single pen.
Color Coordination, 2015
This piece was inspired by the famous works of Jeff Koonz and his Gazing Ball series. I wanted to convert these statues into something more... colorful, but still having to sophistication and minimalist nature that makes them famous. I settled on the subtle swatch on the side along with the combination color of the swatch. This adds some sense of relief from the formality of the statues, yet still relating back to the statues themselves. In a way, it pulls the eye away, yet still offers this new glimpse and appreciation for the colors used to make the piece.
